This annual event is a fundraiser for the Braidwood Hospital, with entry a gold coin donation, if you're passing through make sure you stop for a look, you never know what you might find. •    Braidwood Quilt Event - November 2010 DTBA- National Theatre and various venues around Braidwood. One of the regions premier events, celebrating 16 years in 2010. The famous airing of the quilts takes place on the Saturday only, the verandas along Wallace St are adorned with beautiful quilts, quite spectacular, also on the Saturday, Ryrie Park is full to the brim with market stalls, selling everything you can imagine. The National Theatre has an exhibition of quilts open all weekend, there are loads of 'fringe' activities happening around town.
