The Araluen Old Courthouse was built in 1861 at the height of the gold rush near the historic town of Araluen in the heart of the Southern Tablelands. It is surrounded by 10 acres of bushland, with 3 acres of beautiful gardens, a swimming pool, spa and tennis court.

The Old Police Station B&B sits amongst a beautiful garden that features tranquil ponds, a rotunda, romantic walkways, a variety of magnificent trees, scented roses - you will feel far away from the pressures of city life while being at an easy distance from Canberra, Braidwood, the South Coast and even Sydney.

The 100 year old oak trees that frame the house give the park-like garden great depth and provide an idyllic setting for sitting under relaxing or reading a book or just contemplating life's ebbs and flows.

The charm embodied in the lovingly restored old building and its surrounds provide the perfect setting for grand occasions such as weddings, family gatherings, celebrations or corporate retreats. The B&B will provide transport to and from functions, and will arrange for professional photography services, if required.
