The Braidwood Mill

Ideal for families, friends and groups with shared interests, this unique 1840’s building offers relaxing, lodge style, self contained accommodation in historic Braidwood.

The Mill is a large, open plan building. It has four double bedrooms, two with queen size beds and two with double beds. Downstairs there is a double bunk for two children. Linen, Doonas and towels are provided. Extra mattresses and roll away beds can be provided.

Braidwood Mill has a well-equipped kitchen, a dishwasher and plenty of crockery and cutlery to allow you to entertain in style. The dining area has a large refectory table, the lounge area a cosy log fire. The modern bathroom includes a spa bath. The building has a relaxed and rustic atmosphere and is ideal for children.

Pets are welcome.

Braidwood Townstay and Workshop Art Space

Home in the heart of Braidwood.

Braidwood Townstay is comfortable self contained accommodation in the old Bank of NSW building in the centre of town.

The accommodation is spacious with 4 bedrooms (upstairs), 2 rooms with queen size plus a single bed and the other 2 rooms with 2 single beds each. Downstairs enjoy the comfortable living room with slow combustion fire place, generous dining room and cosy sunroom. The kitchen is well equipped and a laundry is available on request.

We are child and family friendly with a cot available to hire for a modest fee and child barriers for the stairs to protect adventurous toddlers.

Ideal for a couple, a family, several families or a group of friends. When you book Braidwood Townstay you have the whole house to yourselves for the duration of your stay.

Also available to hire on a daily basis is our Workshop Arts Space in the same building. Ideal for friendship groups and special interest groups. $50 / day.

Braidwood Country Style Bed & Breakfast

Mona Country Manor House

Mona is a boutique country resort. It comprises two self contained dwellings, "The Stables" and "The Coach house".

The Stables Villa

A two storey villa, set amongst shady oak trees and a dedicated lawn with banquet table and English fountain. The lower level has a fully equipped kitchen, a luxury double bathroom with spa, and two additional shower bathrooms. Gowns are provided. Upstairs are four double bedrooms, decorated stylishly and individually. A recreational lounge area adjoins with slow combustion wood fire, billiard table, juke box, TV/Video and movies.

Your booking in the Stable Villa ensures exclusive use for you and your group.

Cost: 1 night: $500 for the 1st room then $300 per room.
2 nights: $800 for the 1st room then $500 per room
Breakfast provisions are included.
Late check-out Sunday till 3pm.

The Coachhouse Villa

The Coachhouse (circa 1903) has been completely renovated and refurbished. It is our newest and most luxurious accommodation. The accommodation is divided into two areas each with individual entrance and outdoor areas. Both the Mona Lisa Room and the Leonardo Room are king bedrooms with ensuite facilities. The lounge/dining area has a slow combustion wood fire, TV and Stereo. There is also the Da Vinci Suite with king bedroom and own lounge and bathroom. There is access to a fully equipped kitchen for both areas. Full country breakfast provisions are included. The Coachhouse has its own courtyard (approx 1 acre) and guests have access to all the outdoor facilities. A party of four can book exclusive use.

Cost: $1 night: $520 for the 1st room then $330 per room.
2 nights: $820 for the 1st room then $520 per room.
Breakfast provisions are included.
Late check-out Sunday till 3pm.

Mid week either Villa: $250 per room.

Moon Cottage Bush Retreat

Via Braidwood, NSW

Available for week day or weekend rent, the secluded Moon Cottage provides 3 bed room self-contained accommodation. The cottage overlooks a steep gorge formed by the permanently flowing Nettleton’s Creek. It is located on 160 acres of natural bush with historic aqueducts, old gold diggings and large swimming holes in a pristine creek so there’s plenty to do on site. Walking trails from cottage allow exploration of the bush by foot and if you are quiet, platypus will be seen in the creek. Via Mongarlowe

Location: Moon Cottage is only 20 minutes from historic Braidwood, 2.5 hours south of Sydney, 75 minutes from Canberra. It is close to the Budawangs National Park and Monga National Park Rainforest.

Moon cottage is ideal for two families or a small group. It comfortably sleeps 8. Features include

Tombarra Holiday Units

Relax in the natural environment on the Mongarlowe River just outside of the historic town of Braidwood.

Tombarra's Mongarlowe river frontage has a natural population of Brown Trout (in season). We also stock our farm dams with Rainbow Trout to ensure you have a better than average chance to catch a pan sized fish.

Comfortable 12 fully self-contained units, each with thier own garage.
A three bedroom farmhouse that sleeps 8 is also avaliable.

All you need to bring is your own linen. We provide crokery, cutlery,cooking equipment, blankets and pilllows.
